Find a frontend user
Search the frontend users by email or name and filter them by state, membership and frontend.
Studio roles: "Owner", "Administrator" and "Frontend user manager".
- Open "Frontend users" in the sidebar.
- In "Search by email or name", type part of the email address or of the person's own name, for example "fuchs".
- Narrow the list with the filters if needed:
- "State": "Active", "Blocked", or "Active and blocked";
- "Membership": "No membership", "Any membership", or one membership status, such as "Valid" or "Deactivated";
- "Frontend": the frontend the person signed in to, or "All frontends".
- Choose the person's name to open their page.
"Clear filters" shows everyone again. The list starts with the newest accounts; choose the heading "Name", "Email", "Created" or "Last sign-in" to sort by it.
What the list shows
| Column | What it means |
|---|---|
| "Name" and "Email" | The person's own name and email address, as they signed up. A blocked frontend user has the "Blocked" badge. |
| "Membership" | The status of their organisation membership, or "None". |
| "Frontends used" | The frontends they signed in to, or "None". |
| "Created" | When the account was created. |
| "Last sign-in" | The last sign-in that reached a frontend, single sign-on included, or "Never". |
| "Actions" | "Block" or "Unblock". |
The names here are the ones the person typed at sign-up. The members directory shows the names the register gave, which can differ.
Someone whose sign-up is still waiting for the verification code is not a frontend user yet and does not appear. To answer "why can't I sign up as a member?", look the member code up under "Check lookup" in the members directory instead.
